I live in California and am willing to move so I can own my monkey. does anyone know which is the closest place next to california that will allow Capuchins is? I need thia info. Very badly. THANK YOU!

I'm not sure how to use a bulletin board so am throwing this out there in the hopes that someone may read it & send me in the right direction...

I'm looking for a monkey ownre (guardian?) in the SF Bay Area, who might allow me to visit & pet the monkey. I know this sounds kinky. I have a dear friend, one of whose goals in life is to hold a real monkey. Is there anyone who can help?

I own two squirrel monkeys. California does not allow monkeys as pets since I think 1994. They will confiscate them. Nevada (Las Vegas) is the closest state that monkeys are legal.
