In KY it depends on the individual counties as to whether or not monkeys are legal. The state does not regulate non-native species. However even if it is legal in your county, you are required to get a transportation permit from fish and wildlife to bring any wild animal into the state. The cost for this permit is 25 dollars and has to be signed off on by your local conservation officer. What county are you in?
